Teachers’ Protest for implementation of UGC pay scale in Universities and colleges of Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Teachers Association (HPAUTA) and Veterinary and Animal Science Teachers Associations ( VASTA) of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur observed 30th day of protest near University Library during lunch time from 1.30 to 2.00 pm. Teachers were with black badge during office time.
Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Parveen Sharma and Dr Amit Kumar Singhla shared updates and told the teachers to remain prepared for suspending all academic activities from 28th June onwards if the decision on the implementation of 7th UGC pay scale is not taken in the cabinet meeting to be held on 25th June 2022.
