To strengthen this link, on the occasion of World
Environment Day, Viveka Foundations Sr. Sec School
organized an online Inter School Competition for classes Play-way to 12th.
The main purpose of the
celebration was to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment and the ways to do it. There were two groups with variety of activities like plantation with common and botanical name of the plant, poster making, poem, bird feeder, best out of waste etc. Many students from different schools participated in this online competition.
Group-I: Aashvi Rana of Play-way-I, Aadhya Arora of Play-way-II, Yakshita of Play-way-III secured first position. Priyansh, Arnav, Kavin of Class Ist shared first position. In Class II, Kavin and Aarnav Kaistha have shared first position. Aaradhya Kapoor, Aayan Dogra, Keshav and Sharanya have shared first position in Class III. Ishaan, Ansh, Harsh Thapa and Manav grabbed first position in Class IV.
Group – II
Under category A : Devina of class 6th and Aditi of class 6th stood first in plantation
activity. Aina and Shivam stood first in making a bird feeder.
Under category B : Atharv katoch of class 7th stood first in
plantation activity. Rashima stood first in poster making. Ayush
from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir of class 8th stood first in
poster making. In poem composition Krishti Khandelwal of class 7th, Shri Venkateshwar Int. School and Vaishnavi of class
8th stood first.
Under category C : Yashvi of class 10th stood first in plantation activity. Shashwat
of class 9th stood first in best out of waste activity. Rudranshi Sood first in spreading environment awareness.
The joint effort of school and students promised everyone to give more safe and greener environment to future generations.
